Minooka had won four straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 18-2 to make it five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Oswego East Wolves a 5-0 shutout. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

As for Oswego East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Oswego East's part, they got a good showing from Caden Bregar, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Bregar has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.
