Elk Lake won the last time they faced Montrose and things went their way on Monday too. The Elk Lake Warriors were the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over the Montrose Meteors. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Elk Lake's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Montrose, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Forest City the next time they take the court. Elk Lake will head out to face Forest City at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while Montrose will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on January 28th.
