Softball Recap: Santa Anna Comes Up Short

Santa Anna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Cross Plains Buffaloes. The contest marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Santa Anna's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cross Plains, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Anna will face off against Eula at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cross Plains, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Santa Anna at 5:00 p.m. on April 4.
