Basketball Game Preview: Riesel Indians vs. Bruceville-Eddy Eagles

The Riesel Indians will square off against the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Riesel will be strutting in after a victory while Bruceville-Eddy will be coming in after a defeat.

Riesel took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 43-30 win over Moody.

Meanwhile, Bruceville-Eddy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 90-25 loss at the hands of Marlin. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-12.

Bruceville-Eddy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Riesel, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

Riesel skirted past Bruceville-Eddy 41-38 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riesel since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
