Football Recap: Central Bucks West Falls to Easton Area in First Game of Season

Central Bucks West had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Easton Area Rovers on Friday. While the Bucks had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Rovers 20-7.

Cole Ordway was nothing short of spectacular for Easton Area: he rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 116 yards and one TD while completing 71.4% of his passes. Ordway's longest rush was for an incredible 88 yards.

Looking ahead, Central Bucks West will square off against Upper Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Easton Area, they will challenge Spring-Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
