It was fun while it lasted, but Edmonds-Woodway's undefeated season came to an end after 17 games on Tuesday. They lost 74-52 to the Shorecrest Scots. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Warriors struggled afterwards.

Edmonds-Woodway's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-1. As for Shorecrest, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

Edmonds-Woodway and Shorecrest should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Edmonds-Woodway (ranked 13th) will meet Mountlake Terrace (ranked 102nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Edmonds-Woodway will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Shorecrest will face off against Meadowdale at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th up 114 places (21 vs. 135).
