Basketball Recap: Buckeye Comes Up Short

Buckeye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 55-45 to the Bay Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-33 back in December of 2025.

Buckeye's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Buckeye will square off against Lakewood at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Bucks will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Bay, they will face off against North Olmsted at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Rockets will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
