Baseball Recap: Central Has No Trouble Against Southeast

Central barely beat Southeast the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Monday. That seven-run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-10 record this season. As for Southeast, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coming up, Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.89 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
