Football Recap: Perry Starts Season with Loss at Home

Perry unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 17-7 to the Clawson Trojans on Thursday. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Ramblers couldn't quite close it out.

Tyger Whitbeck threw for 36 yards on four of 19 attempts. On the ground, Mason Nosis rushed for 27 yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will face off against Kelloggsville at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Clawson, they will take on Center Line at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
