Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cameron Oliver and Danielle Oliver Lead Greenwood to Victory

There's no place like home for Greenwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Hillcrest Rams with a sharp 56-34 victory on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Greenwood to victory were Danielle Oliver and Cameron Oliver. Danielle went 9 of 21 en route to 25 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Cameron posted 16 points along with eight steals and seven assists. The contest was Danielle's 13th in a row with at least ten points.

Greenwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Hillcrest, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-20.

Greenwood will challenge T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenwood is facing T.L. Hanna at the right time seeing as T.L. Hanna is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Hillcrest has already played their next matchup (against Mauldin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
