Basketball Game Preview: Pueblo East Eagles vs. Lewis-Palmer Rangers

Pueblo East is 1-9 against Lewis-Palmer since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Pueblo East Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, Pueblo East was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-56 to Pueblo Central. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Discovery Canyon typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Lewis-Palmer proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 50-46 W over the Thunder. The win was nothing new for the Rangers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pueblo East better keep an eye on Jonas Miller. He was instrumental in Lewis-Palmer's win, putting up 17 points. Cole Hughes was another key player, earning ten points.

Lewis-Palmer pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pueblo East, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Pueblo East might still be hurting after the 61-37 loss they got from Lewis-Palmer in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Pueblo East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
