Basketball Recap: Williamsburg Falls to Berlin Brothersvalley in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Williamsburg had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 54-25 loss at the hands of the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Berlin Brothersvalley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Janidlo out in front who went 5-for-6 en route to 12 points. The dominant performance also gave Janidlo a new career-high in field goal percentage (83%). Another player making a difference was Brady Janidlo, who posted nine points.

The victory got Berlin Brothersvalley back to even at 1-1.

Williamsburg and Berlin Brothersvalley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blue Pirates are set to face off against their familiar foe Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Berlin Brothersvalley will take on rival North Star at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
