Baseball Recap: Perry Hall Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dundalk on Tuesday, Perry Hall came back down to earth. The Gators lost 9-2 to the Pikesville Panthers on Wednesday. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Perry Hall now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pikesville, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry Hall will take on Dulaney at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pikesville, they will challenge Sparrows Point at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
