Casey-Westfield waltzed into their contest on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They blew past the Mattoon Greenwave 10-0. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly ten runs.

Mattoon's batters probably weren't too happy with Ava Goble, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (she gave up a single walk). Goble has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Casey-Westfield got a big performance out of Arhianna Bonds, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Bonds has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allyson Truelove, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Casey-Westfield's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Mattoon, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 12-15 record.

Casey-Westfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greenwave: the pair will be back at it again later today.
