Baseball Game Preview: Foster Bulldogs vs. Renton Red Hawks

Foster is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and Renton a 12-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Foster Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Renton Red Hawks at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Foster came up short against Sammamish on Friday, falling 21-4.

Foster saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julio Orellana, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Renton scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 18-8 to Lindbergh.

David Thor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Foster, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Foster was able to grind out a solid victory over Renton in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-2. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
