Baseball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion lost against Little River on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors lost 18-4 to the Redskins. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marion saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lander Smith, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another was Lane Smith, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Little River, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion will welcome Moundridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Little River, they will take on Ellsworth on Thursday.
