The Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks will challenge the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Dawson-Boyd is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by MACCRAY to the tune of 105-34 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Blackjacks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Tracy-Milroy-Balaton took on Renville County West on Tuesday. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton blew past Renville County West, posting an 80-37 victory. That 43 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Dawson-Boyd pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Everything went Dawson-Boyd's way against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Dawson-Boyd made off with an 83-62 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dawson-Boyd since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
