Basketball Game Preview: Midland Christian Mustangs vs. Grace Prep Lions

The Midland Christian Mustangs will face off against the Grace Prep Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Midland Christian is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Trinity Christian just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 66-36 loss at the hands of the Lions. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-12.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Grace Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past All S 70-48 on Tuesday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Grace Prep has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Midland Christian, they now have a losing record at 15-16.
