Soccer Game Preview: Timber Creek vs. Lake Mary

Timber Creek has won six straight games at home, while Lake Mary has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Timber Creek Wolves will welcome the Lake Mary Rams at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Timber Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Atlantic Coast a 6-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what Wolves needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Their offense was hitting Atlantic Coast from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Alex Beck led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Lake Mary got the win against Hagerty on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-0. The Rams' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Lake Mary has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten matchups. As for Timber Creek, their win bumped their record up to 13-0-3.
