Softball Recap: Grand View Christian Extends Winning Streak to Two

Grand View Christian and H-L-V pushed the score to 13-8 the last time they played H-L-V, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Thunder's pitchers stepped up to hand the Warriors a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunder also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Grand View Christian and bumps their season record up to 12-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for H-L-V, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Coincidentally, Grand View Christian and H-L-V will both be playing Lone Tree the next time they take the field. The Thunder will host the Lions at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
