Recap: Stratford Knights vs. Colleton County Cougars
The Stratford Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 82-65 bruising from Colleton County. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Stratford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Amari Washington. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nizhier Baldwin, who scored 16 points.
Stratford has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Colleton County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
Stratford will be playing in front of their home fans against Cane Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colleton County, they will head out on the road to face off against Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
