Baseball Recap: Vanguard Extends Winning Streak to Six

Vanguard put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Williston Red Devils by a score of 9-5. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Jacob ?Jake? Wells, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Gavin Aiton also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Vanguard kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Vanguard's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Williston, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
