Maverick Simpson Game Report: vs Elkhart

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Maverick Simpson: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made four total tackles, but sadly Northridge still had to take a 17-7 loss at the hands of Elkhart. We hope Friday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Simpson and Northridge will look to defend their home field on Friday against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. The Raiders are 8-1 against the Pilgrims/Rockies going back to September of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
