Basketball Recap: Bethlehem Academy/Discovery Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mabel-Canton

Bethlehem Academy/Discovery was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 74-59 bruising from the Mabel-Canton Cougars. One positive for the Cardinals, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mabel-Canton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Darian Hershberger led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Hershberger is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. Another player making a difference was Tyler Larson, who posted 19 points and seven rebounds.

Bethlehem Academy/Discovery's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mabel-Canton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
