Soccer Recap: Eisenhower Falls Short of Oak Ridge in the Playoffs

Eisenhower and Oak Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eisenhower had to settle for second. They came up short against the War Eagles, falling 8-0. Considering the last time Eisenhower couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Eisenhower has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. Oak Ridge's win bumped their record up to 20-4-1.

Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Ridge, they will square off against Magnolia on Monday. Magnolia will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Oak Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
