El Capitan/Centennial Academy is 3-0 against Fredonia since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. El Capitan/Centennial Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fredonia Lynx at 7:00 p.m. El Capitan/Centennial Academy will be looking to keep their 16-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.

El Capitan/Centennial Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Grand Canyon at home to the tune of 104-6. El Capitan/Centennial Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

El Capitan/Centennial Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Hammon, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds. Hammon hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Kendall Hammon was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and six steals.

Fredonia suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Beaver Dam 59-32. While losing is never fun, Fredonia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Beaver Dam is ranked 105th).

El Capitan/Centennial Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Fredonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.
