Softball Recap: Onaway Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Mary Cathedral last Monday, Onaway came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Atlanta Huskies by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 11-10 to the Huskies when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Onaway's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Atlanta, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Onaway and Atlanta will both be playing Forest Area the next time they take the field. The Huskies will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
