Baseball Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 6-3 to the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Akron-Fairgrove, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-13.

Bridgeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Akron-Fairgrove, they will face off against All Saints Central at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The last three games the Cougars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
