Football Game Preview: Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions vs. Wahkiakum Mules

Two dominant signal callers in Johnny Ferguson and Jayden Stoddard are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian Lions will square off against the Wahkiakum Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wahkiakum will be up against a hot Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. The Lions blew past Waterville/Mansfield 60-12 on Thursday.

One of the most notable was Preston West, who rushed for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another pass catcher making a difference was Cooper Carlson, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two TDs.

Wahkiakum's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
