Softball Recap: Adirondack's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Adirondack barely beat Westmoreland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Bulldogs 9-1 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Allison Croniser made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Croniser was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Emma Weiler was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Skyler Green, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

The victory (which was Adirondack's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Adirondack wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-4 defeat against Poland on the 17th. Hopefully Westmoreland paid attention to the Wildcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
