Volleyball Recap: Eastern Beats Wellston for Their Fifth Straight Win

Eastern waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wellston Golden Rockets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

One reason for the win was Eastern's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-12.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wellston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will welcome Symmes Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellston, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Vinton County at 6:30 p.m.
