Douglas is a perfect 5-0 against Gering since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bearcats will head out to challenge the Bulldogs at 5:45 p.m. Douglas has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Douglas managed to keep up with Worland until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bearcats lost 5-0 to the Warriors. Douglas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Gering didn't have quite enough to beat South on Saturday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for Gering in their meetings with South: they've now lost three in a row.

Dominic Mendez and Jayden Hakert scored both of Gering's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Gering's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Douglas was able to grind out a solid win over Gering in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
