Softball Recap: Arcadia Valley Comes Up Short

Arcadia Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Ste. Genevieve Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-8 last Tuesday.

Arcadia Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Ste. Genevieve, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Arcadia Valley will face off against Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ste. Genevieve, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against West County on the 22nd.
