Basketball Recap: Bath Takes a Loss

Bath blew Dansville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Dansville got their revenge. The Fighting Bees fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 47-45. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Fighting Bees came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Aggies are ranked 542nd).

Bath's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Dansville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bath will square off against rival Pewamo-Westphalia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dansville is set to face off against their familiar foe Laingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
