Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seagraves). Everything went their way against the Smyer Bobcats on Tuesday as the Seagraves Eagles made off with a 59-33 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Seagraves' win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Smyer, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Seagraves and Smyer could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Seagraves (ranked 1300th) will meet Plains (ranked 327th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Smyer will take on Ropes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 876 places (1323 vs. 447).
