Fans got a thrill when Alex Perez and Nic Richardson connected against Sedan. The longest such play in South Central Border (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 57 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, West Elk beat Cedar Vale/Dexter 50-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Patriots.
Alec McDaniel threw for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns.
McDaniel put up the best numbers in passing as Argonia/Attica lost to South Barber. McDaniel's favorite target this week was Doss Grigsby, who caught 3 passes for 48 yards.
The Titans' McDaniel and Garrett Wells led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-7 quarterback McDaniel has thrown for 974 yards this season, while Wells has 28 catches for 352 yards. West Elk's Armando Gomez leads the league in rushing yards with 972.
Gomez of the Chris Haag's team is only 28 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 108 carries Gomez has put up 972 yards this year.
At the moment, the Devils are in sixth, while South Haven is in second.
The Patriots took down the Spartans 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Paxton Noll ran for 76 yards and caught 1 pass for 15 yards in the win.
