Volleyball Recap: Tampa Bay HEAT Takes Down Seffner Christian in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tampa Bay HEAT had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Seffner Christian Crusaders. This was a revenge game for Tampa Bay HEAT: when they faced off against Seffner Christian back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Tampa Bay HEAT was led to victory by Shyla Rodriguez and Ariana Troyer. Rodriguez had 18 assists and seven digs, while Troyer had 14 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Troyer is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

The win made it two in a row for Tampa Bay HEAT and bumps their season record up to 20-7. As for Seffner Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
