Basketball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Jasper

Jasper's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 54-43 victory over the Gardendale Rockets. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jasper found their leader in sophomore Taniya Windham, who went 9 for 19 on her way to 25 points. Sk Bonner was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

Jasper pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Gardendale, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Jasper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-43 victory against Huntsville on the 28th. As for Gardendale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-31 win against McAdory on the 28th.
