Soccer Recap: Carlisle Starts Season with Victory Against Central Heights

Carlisle took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (barely). They won by a goal and slipped past the Central Heights Blue Devils 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Indians were the better team in the second half.

Sara Garza and Marisol Hernandez scored all three of Carlisle's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Central Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Waskom the next time they take the pitch. Carlisle will host Waskom at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Central Heights will host them at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th.
