There's no place like home for Maypearl, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Palmer Bulldogs by a score of 9-6 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Alyssa Rogers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bailey Short was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March.
