Basketball Recap: Nemo Vista Takes a Loss

Nemo Vista lost against Hector back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Nemo Vista Red Hawks might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Hector Wildcats an easy 80-54 victory. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nemo Vista now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Hector, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Nemo Vista and Woodlawn will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:45 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Hector, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ouachita at 1:45 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Hector knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Ouachita likes a good challenge.
