Baseball Game Preview: Western Alamance Warriors vs. Eastern Guilford Wildcats

The Western Alamance Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Eastern Guilford Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Western Alamance will be strutting in after a win while Eastern Guilford will be coming in after a loss.

Western Alamance can't be too worried about heading out to take on Eastern Guilford: they just beat McMichael at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Warriors came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 13-8 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Southern Guilford, falling 12-0.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Western Alamance, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Western Alamance was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastern Guilford in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 9-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
