Graford had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Santo Wildcats as they made off with a 17-7 win. The Rabbits might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.
Trinity Leach made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Lilly Ruddy was a standout: she fired off four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI while going 4-for-4. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Savahannah Martin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
Graford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive contests.
