Salesian is a perfect 3-0 against St. Paul since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will head out to face off against the Swordsmen at 5:00 p.m. Salesian will be strutting in after a victory while St. Paul will be coming in after a loss.

Salesian will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Friday, then bounced right back against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy on Wednesday. The Mustangs never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Salesian's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, St. Paul was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against Bishop Amat, falling 3-0. St. Paul haven't had much luck with Bishop Amat recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Salesian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. As for St. Paul, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-2.

Salesian was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Paul in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
