After losing to Plant City the last time they met, Steinbrenner decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Steinbrenner Warriors walked away with a 7-3 win over the Plant City Raiders on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kelton Meares spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Steinbrenner saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Liss, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. Steinbrenner is undefeated when Liss posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Chase Petker was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Steinbrenner's record now sits at 10-7. As for Plant City, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Steinbrenner will venture away from home to face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Plant City, they will head out to square off against Lennard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lennard is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Plant City a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
