Baseball Recap: Elk Rapids Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Elk Rapids's offense. They came up short against the Gaylord Blue Devils on Friday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Elks have suffered since April 21st.

Elk Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Gaylord, their record now sits at 11-5-3.

Coming up, Elk Rapids will head out on the road to face off against Harbor Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Elks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gaylord, they will welcome Harbor Light Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
