Soccer Game Preview: Lynbrook vs. Mission San Jose

The Lynbrook Vikings will take on the Mission San Jose Warriors in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynbrook is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

While Lynbrook didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-12-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 3-1 win over El Primero on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by exactly two goals.

Preston Kao and Rayyan Ghafoor scored all three of Lynbrook's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Mission San Jose kept a clean sheet against American on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Eagles.

Mission San Jose's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lynbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
