Maranatha Christian's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Cavaliers back in August, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Maranatha Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-18.

The victory got Maranatha Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Mullins Marion Christian, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Maranatha Christian and Mullins Marion Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bulldogs see the court they'll take on Emmanuel Christian at 5:30 p.m. on October 9. As for Mullins Marion Christian, their break will end when they face Liberty Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th.
