Baseball Recap: Union Springs Wolves vs. Moravia Blue Devils
Union Springs barely beat Moravia the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won nine in a row.
Jack Walters made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Walters was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Aaron Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
