Football Recap: Wendell Trojans vs. Marsing Huskies
Wendell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 35-20 to the Marsing Huskies. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Marsing's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Shaw, who picked up 85 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Jace Chadez also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Wendell's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marsing, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
